lincoln ip was established by matthew lincoln, a chartered patent attorney, european patent attorney and european trade mark and design attorney. with a background in physics and mathematics, matt was a patent examiner at the uk intellectual property office before turning to private practice in 2000.

david fulton joined the firm in january 2009 from a well-known glasgow private practice. he is a chartered patent attorney, european patent attorney and european trade mark and design attorney, having a technical background in physics, lasers and optoelectronics. on completing his phd at the university of st andrews, david joined the patent profession in 2000. since then david has gained considerable experience advising clients in a range of high technology fields within both the industrial and academic sectors. david presently splits his time between glasgow and aberdeen. click here to view david's full profile.
